John Kelly
John Kelly @ Orpington Folk Club, the Change of Horses 2010

The "Harmonium Hero".  Back on the folk scene after a few years' absence, he specializes in mainly traditional song, accompanied by the harmonium and other instruments.  He made a good impression on our audience when he did floor spots at our singarounds last year.

Foolproof (Rebooked from January which was cancelled due to bad weather)
Foolproof @ Orpington Folk Club, the Change of Horses 2010

Foolproof are Sue Hudson (vocals and guitar) and Cliff Baylis, (vocals mandolin and guitar). Sue, formerly with folk duo Tundra has been performing for over 20 years. Cliff is a skilled and inventive musician, having played mandolin and guitar for many years. Drawing heavily on their shared experience of roots music on both sides of the Atlantic, their sound is a mix of country and folk, with overtones of blues and gospel.

The musical paths of Sue Hudson and Cliff Baylis have crossed frequently over the years and their shared enthusiasm for American music has now led to them forming the duo foolproof, which has appeared in festivals, concerts, folk clubs and pubs across the South of England.
