Paul is a passionate singer / guitarist.  Among his influences are Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Dave Ellis.  On this occasion he will be joined by his son Laurence who plays a very nice line in lead guitar.

North of England born and bred, Eddie is of one of the Folk Circuit’s leading singer/guitar pickers!  He plays old blues, rags, hillbilly country, British and American folk and original songs - and guitar instrumentals.
He has written some great songs –‘he doesn’t make a fuss about them, rather he slips them in among his other repertoire and lets people use their own ears’.

Well Eddie Walker certainly delivered the goods, courtesy of Brian and Marion (No Worries) who made sure he got there and had a bed afterwards.  A real entertainer and authority on early 20th century blues - with a beguilingly soft "Geordie" accent.  Great voice, great guitar playing and infected the audience with enth...usiasm to sing along.  Cheer up Ted Handley, I am sure the Committee will have him back for when you are better.
