Dave performs English and Appalachian Old Time songs, ballads, and instrumental music on 5-string banjo, guitar, melodeon, and whistle.  In November 2003 he was awarded the Gold Badge of the English Folk Dance and Song Society, for services to folk music

This Essex based singer guitarist has been playing the clubs for over 30 years.  Besides his self penned songs he performs some folk, country and rock and roll.  He currently plays throughout the UK, and occasionally in Europe.
